APOPHYS COMET:
April 13 2029 is when comet Apophys comes. This could be Wormwood.
This comet of 2029 happens in the context of the final events, being the final trumpets of judgement that happen just before the Savior returns.
Apophys is the size of the Empire State Building, and is calculated to fly between to Earth than the Moon. But with a slight change, it could impact earth. Is part of this comet water ice, as is common in comets? Could this melt with a change in the way it faces, which could propel the comet toward our earth? We know something is coming, and this is a very likely candidate!
THE SCRIPTURE:
In Revelation 8:8-11 John sees a burning mountain flying into the sea. It destroys 1/3 of sea life: “8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”
UKRAINE’S 1986 CHERNOBYL EXPLOSION NOT WORMWOOD:
We have not seen anything like this happen yet. Some have pointed to the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine in 1986, as the word Chernobyl means wormwood. But this wasn’t falling from the sky, and it isn’t in the right timeframe of the final end time disasters.

We do see God brining multiple fulfillments to things, but ultimately, the explosion in Ukraine has little to nothing to do with the events described in Rev. 8, other than the possible similar word. Ukraine is a landlocked country and has nothing to do with a burning mountain falling into the sea. John knew what he was talking about, and this is a revelation from the Lord speaking through John – the Lord is clear about the nature of what is going on. Scripture will all be literally fulfilled.
Remember, according to Rev. 8, this happens after the 7th seal is opened. Therefore, this was not 1986!
COMET FOR END TIMES, LIKE TIME OF FLOOD:
Remember, as in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Lord’s return. Many sources (Sessions’ Universal Model & Immanuel Velikovsky to name a few) indicate a comet flew near earth to change the rotation of the earth, which triggered the cracking of the earth, which released the pressurized fountains of the deep to cover the earth completely in water. So a repeat of a similar event of a comet triggering apocalyptic events makes sense.
