Note: These notes highlight several principles and ideas. Many illustrations and examples and additional points are in the full book, which I most highly recommend. This is a starter study, not a substitute study on this important topic. Some of these notes may appear out of the original order of the book. This is due to writing difficulties and some grouping of ideas together by topic. End note.

Note: Let us be cautious in our efforts to expose falsehood and defend the truth, that we do so in the correct context and the correct spirit. We don’t go hunting people down to bash on them and shame them. We teach the open-minded. We teach our children. We teach honest truth seekers. When people resist, we pull back. We find those who are ready. We don’t contend with any sort of malice. A friendly discussion is one thing, but like the great example Charlie Kirk, we do not allow ourselves to become out of control and dispassionate. Charlie was an excellent example of how to stand up for truth in nice ways. We stand up, speak the truth, seek every opportunity to teach, and let the consequences come, whatever they are. George Bush was duped, he said Islam means peace. Islam really means submission. They incorrectly separate violent jihad from Islam.

Jihad, sex slavery, and beheadings are all Islamic, or Muhammad wasn’t Islamic.

The left’s victories are used by Islam, like blaming you for bigotry or Islamophobia to shut down conversation.

Islamophobia-phobia, the fear of being labeled afraid of Islam.

A Muslim says Allahu Akbar 25x a day, meaning God is greater or greatest. Aka my God can beat your God.

As comes up later in the book: Muslims are into power. They don’t like the weak humble Jesus. They have their own version of Jesus in the Quran and say the Bible is corrupt, so they reject the persecuted, crucified Christ, denying the crucifixion, etc.

Islam can move rapidly, as it did in the 7th century.

 

Part 1: Jihad is Back

 

Ch. 1 Resurgence of Jihad in the 21^st Century

 

More Americans were killed in 911 than in Pearl Harbor.

Ancient barbarism is returning. Kidnapping, sex slaves, bombings, massacres, death for blasphemy, beheadings, etc. The author goes over many modern instances of these things around the world.

When American schools talk about the history of Islam in the West, they just say Islam expanded into these areas, not that they conquered to get to them. It’s whitewashed history favoring Islam.

The Great Wall around the Vatican was built to protect it from marauding Muslims.

Many European cities have basically a Muslim city within the city ruled by the Quran.

 

Fear of being labeled Islamophobic has led to 1400 young girls being abused and trafficked in Rotherham city. Officials look the other way as the Pakistani gangs etc. do these things because the authorities don’t want to be labeled as Islamophobic. They would drive up to the homes where the children were being guarded by officials, select the one they want, and drive away with her. Multiple organizations exist that demonize anyone who says anything against Islam or makes any accusations about Muslim rape gangs existing.

In America, we also have agencies like the Southern Poverty Law Center and George Soros-funded organizations that label anyone who looks into issues with Islam and Islamic criminal gangs as a hate group and fear monger.

Words like Islam or jihad are not allowed to be said in investigations.

People who write about the real problem of Islamic terror receive many threats and have to hire bodyguards.

Since 9/11 there have been many successful and failed Islamic terrorist attacks on Americans.

Some say it’s not a good time for Muslims in the West, but it’s even worse for non-Muslims in the West; they’re the ones who have to fear these attacks.

Christians who live in Muslim areas have to worry about their churches being firebombed, being beheaded, and their children being sold into slavery.

 

Ch. 2 is Terror Islamic?

 

Islam doesn’t mean peace; it means submission.

The frequent claim when there is Islamic violence is to say that the attack has nothing to do with Islam.

The attackers express themselves through religious identity.

Against communism and Nazis, we knew it was wise and proper to attack the ideologies of the evils in order to help bring them down. But we aren’t doing this against Islam.

Stealthy cultural jihad is taking place in Europe, and to a lesser extent, in America. Getting us used to the hijab, used to closing city blocks, etc.

Osama Bin Laden’s letter to us did talk about us attacking them, but over half of it was religious (not political). He wanted to free us from our immorality.

The terrorists say they are doing it for Allah. Let’s take what they say at face value: that they believe this is what God wants them to do. Will we believe the news people that say Islam has nothing to do with the violence, or will we believe the attackers themselves?

Obama claimed that 99.9% of Muslims reject violent jihad. But the Quran tells a different story, which calls for people to support violent jihad even if they aren’t directly doing it. And Muhammad set the example of violent jihad.

Saudi Arabia is our ally, but they align with Islam.

 

Ch. 3 The Roots of Jihad

 

Muslims consider Muhammad the most faithful man ever, and he did violent jihad.

Muhammad married a 6-year-old and consummated the marriage when the girl was 9.

Muhammad married a daughter-in-law.

Muhammad beheaded a captured tribe and enslaved women and children; some 8000 were beheaded while he looked on with his child bride.

Muhammad isn’t a model for our times, but the Quran says he is a beautiful example, and excuses his behaviors, which it tells others not to do.

Men could have only 4 wives at a time, but Muhammad could have unlimited wives.

Just as Christians ask what Jesus would do, Muslims ask what Muhammad would do. Westerners sometimes don’t understand how central Muhammad is to the religion of Islam.

If 99 percent of Muslims reject violent jihad, 99 percent would have to reject Muhammad.

The Quran says Muhammad is above all other prophets.

It’s not good enough to affirm God; you must affirm the prophet, Muhammad. Muhammad is the cornerstone of the religion.

No one witnessed any message being given to Muhammad, though he was seen sweating and going into a trance-like state.

The Quran is confusing, so it was supplemented with a lot of other material.

The Quran repeatedly gives permission to kill non-believers.

The peaceful verses are canceled out by the violent ones.

A verse calling to not kill is followed by a verse calling to kill.

Note: The death penalty can be appropriate, particularly for murder. The Bible says no exception should be made in executing murderers. But the fact remains that the Bible gives a more morally consistent code than the Quran. End note.

The Quran has tons of material on battles and celebrating them.

Note: The issue is that battle is glorified, not just seen as a necessary evil, and not just defensive. Islam is a religion of war, and its prophet was a warlord. End note.

Muslim scholars say the Quran is such good prose that it must be divine. But many passages like 33:50 don’t sound so good. The Quran has little sense of continuity, character, drama, etc. The Quran isn’t so good in Arabic either. We can still see the beauty in Homer, Tolstoy, and other foreign authors in English.

The Quran says the earth is flat with 7 layers, an obvious utter falsehood.

Note: And yes, the Bible does show good science. It is true in every way. Some say the Bible isn’t a science textbook so don’t expect it to teach us science, but it’s also not full of falsehoods. We can take, for example, the sequence of events described in the creation accounts literally. God would not deceive us. End note.

The Quran is claimed to have been written God himself. The Quran repeatedly claims that it is infallible. The Quran says that doubting it’s revelations is the sure path to hell.

Thomas Jefferson said it doesn’t matter whether a person believes in many gods, but if he believes in one that says to kill you, you better expose it. So we better expose Islam.

Jihadists say they are only delivering the message they received, and they invite you to read it for yourself.

Mainstream Islam is that jihad will be in force until the world submits to Islam.

Many Islamic law books approve of killing the non-believer, but that he can be spared if he converts or pays the tax.

Muhammad’s battles were typically aggressive wars he started. But they claim it was defensive, defending Islam.

An innocent person to them is one who has accepted Islam. All others aren’t innocent and can die.

Note: The D&C does teach that those who reject the true church of Christ are living in sin. But it doesn’t say to kill them. End note.

Elsewhere in the book, the author talks about the Golden Age of Islam, the claims of its peacefulness and scientific advancements, being exaggerated.

 

 

Ch. 4 What Jihad Means

 

Jihad is not an internal struggle for self-betterment. Jihad is a religious holy war against infidels. They’re referring to the sword. It’s a Western propaganda stunt to say otherwise.

Quran 9:19-20 says those who fight for Jihad are better than those who live peacefully.

Violent Jihadists are more educated than other Muslims. They’re often well educated, doctors, born into privilege like Osama Bin Laden.

The Quran says martyrdom assures paradise, the only way to assure it. The 72 virgins, it says, await.

Christians are unsure if they are ready for union with God, but Muslims are all ready for the paradise they’re promised.

They say drawing a cartoon of Muhammad merits violence. The Catholic Vatican newspaper called such a cartoon “blasphemous.”

Critics of blasphemy laws are often killed.

Pope Benedict tried to be nice to Islam, and Islam responded with violence.

Author and critic of Islam Robert Spencer is called an Islamophobe and is banned from speaking to Catholic groups, etc. He runs Jihad Watch and wrote several books. He never calls for violence or lawlessness, but he is banned from entering the UK; they say he brings danger.

Note: The claim that he brings danger is a criticism of those who threaten danger, not of Spencer. End note.

America allows free speech, except about Islam.

Note: The trend is to tolerate everything the state approves and not tolerate what it doesn’t. End note.

100s of books attest to the violence of Islam.

The desire to be non-offensive has become the highest value.

In Muslim countries, it’s considered provocative to be Christian, or to not cover a woman’s head, or to build a Christian church, or to repair an old church. Violence against them is excused.

North Africa was 90 percent Christian, but Islam made them pay a heavy tax to not be killed, and so now it’s 90 percent Islamic. Europe is in a culture war to see if Islam will reign. We say diversity is our strength and our salvation.

In Pakistan, etc., non-Islamic people are seen as inferior.

They rape European women to get them to submit to Islam.

They see Christianity as a second-rate, weak religion.

People are told they must dress to accommodate Islam. Imagine if they were told to dress to accommodate Christians. No chance. Diversity is only applied to Islam.

Christian indifference is creating a vacuum that Islam is filling. Christians are not praying and propagating, so the Muslims are coming in and doing that.

Zealous Muslims are Christophobic.

Catholic churches aren’t just struggling to be filled with people, they’re struggling to stay open. British Christianity is dying. The media now regularly talks about the end of British Christianity. Many British churches are being turned into mosques. The only diversity that counts today in England is Islam. Islamic leaders are catered to when they ask for people to dress a certain way in public places. But one couldn’t imagine Christian leaders being given the same privileges.

Note: The mass migration of Muslims into Britain is truly astonishing. The Christians are leaving, the Muslims are coming, in the millions. More Muslims have entered in the past 100 years than the past 1000. End note.

Note: If you can’t allow one thing to all groups, there isn’t a principle, but a favoritism. Allow the same for Christians, or you aren’t being fair. You aren’t operating on principles of justice. End note.

In Afghanistan there are no Christian churches.

The biggest trend in the West isn’t transgenderism, it’s Islam. Europe’s war is a culture war to see how far Islam will be allowed to progress. Europe is relativistic, and will embrace Islam quicker than old Europe did. Europeans have been unable to resist secularism. Now they will get Islamism.

French prime minister Manuel Vols said I welcome our new overlords, Islam is here to stay.

In the West we are now celebrating any change so long as it’s a change away from traditional morals.

Europe isn’t really having a culture war, it’s having a slow motion capitulation. A relativist mindset is enabling the Islamization of Europe.

Living under Sharia law is not something you’d wish on your worst enemy.

Peter Kreeft talks about ecumenical jihad. Joining Muslims to combat porn and immoral sexuality. But we can’t just say the enemy of my enemy is my friend, we need a more reliable principle.

There’s peaceful Muslims just like there’s peaceful communists, but nevertheless, they embrace a morality that’s killed millions.

Most women wear the hijab out of fear of physical harm. Many Islamic nations require it, and those who don’t live in fear of being violently and sexually targeted for not wearing it.

Immodesty dehumanizes a woman, but so does a burke that covers all but the eyes.

In Christianity modesty and chastity are not forced, they are outer expressions of inward purity. Of course in Islam women are forced to wear the hijab or even the burqa.

Note: The fact modesty and chastity are not forced in Christianity doesn’t mean there aren’t church rules against them. Indeed, any good society should have rules against bad things. Sins of unchastity are to be preached against at the pulpits, decried for the evils they are. And in a godly society, there would be punishments for public indecency, and for adultery, as the Bible says. But the fact remains that Muslims are way off in how they do all of this. Islam enforces itself by the sword and goes a conquering. Christianity resorts to violence only to defend what is its own, such as was mostly the case in the Crusades. Christian societies are about wanting to be a part of the group, not being forced to at the threat of death or heavy taxes and harsh discriminatory laws. In Biblical law, if you didn’t keep the law of Israel, you could take the prescribed penalty, or leave. Mercy was also operable in Israel. End note.

Sharia law says women are second class citizens with second class law. Their testimony is worth half of a man’s in court. Woman need a husband’s permission to divorce, etc.

Islamic ethics aren’t so good as they claim. 89 percent of Muslims voted for Obama, the pro-abortion candidate.

They want the Quran as the only holy book and Islam as the only accepted religion.

It’s mafia style stuff – they say, ‘we are well behaved, but our friends aren’t, better to appease them so nothing bad happens.’

 

Part 2: Jihad Without Bombs

 

Ch. 5 The Quiet Kind of Jihad

 

A top military leader was let go for pointing out violent jihad.

A military manual for US soldiers in Afghanistan said don’t criticize pedophilia since it might upset Muslims.

There’s armed Jihad and stealth jihad. Stealth jihad is the incremental spread of Islam via activism and lawfare.

At Oxford University Press they no longer allow stories with pigs, since it might offend Muslims. Only historic stories are allowed, no new ones with pigs.

Concessions to Islamic demands are more likely to bring violent jihad. Muslims see the conceding enemy being weak and pounce.

Islamic societies operate within other societies, and have ‘no go’ zones they control in Europe.

CARE is treated like it’s moderate in the USA, but other places recognize it is a terrorist organization, an unindicted co-conspirator in terror.

Politically correct codes now protect the right of Muslims not to be offended. They can send you to jail. The PC climate protects Islam from examination on the west.

Multiculturalism isn’t about many melting into one American identity, it’s about all retaining their identities.

Note: It is tribalism. Ayn Rand talks about this embarrassment. And the culture they have the least tolerance for is American culture. End note.

The Souther Poverty Law Center (SPLC) labels certain speakers as leaders of hate groups. If you have one of these people speak, you get negative press and threats from Muslims.

Note: For evil to succeed all that’s needed is for good people to do nothing. End note.

The media minimizes jihadist attacks. Expose Islamic violence and you can get sued for religious defamation.

Molly Norris called for an ‘everyone draw Muhamad’ day, for free expression. She had to change her identity and was never heard of again.

Freedom of speech isn’t something we should stop just because of threats of violence. Give in to stopping free speech and they take more. Some Muslim-inhabited places call ringing a church bell provocative.

Don’t let the most violent among us determine free speech.

Muslim radicals seem to have an unlimited capacity for being offended. Today it’s pictures of Mohammad, tomorrow who knows what. Jihadists want to control every aspect of our lives.

Conversion is the long game goal of jihad. The short game is submission. Harsh conditions of the dhimmi system make it the easier path to convert.

Dhimmi means protected class. Aka, it’s about paying them and they’ll protect you from what they’ll do to you if you don’t comply. Just like a mafia.

Note: Sadly, many similar unjust laws are being enforced by local, state, and federal government sin the US. End note.

No churches allowed in Saudi Arabia and visitors aren’t allowed to bring Bibles.

Islam is ‘tolerant’ so long as you submit to what they ask for.

Note: In other words, they aren’t tolerant. Ironic how Muslims and liberals both call for tolerance for others, but don’t apply it to themselves. This is why Raymond Ibrahim can say truthfully that Christians are the most persecuted minority in the world. End note.

An Islamic teen Ahmed Mohammed made a clock that looked like a bomb and kept showing it off. There’s evidence he was trying to make a scene. He had connections to terrorists. He wasn’t cooperative with the police and was arrested. Then everyone fawned over him and praised him and gave him awards. His family won a 15-million-dollar lawsuit. This pressures people to say nothing when they see something suspicious.

A high ranking military officer was dismissed when he said that Islam promotes jihad.

A manual for US troops said don’t criticize the Taliban, don’t criticize pedophilia, and don’t criticize anything about Islam so that no Muslims would be offended.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) had a good program to deal with terrorism and they had a program to watch certain mosques and Islamic student programs. But they shut it down because it was offensive to Muslims.

Hillary Clinton’s top aid Aberdeen had close ties to the Muslim brotherhood (a terrorist group). A request to look into this was condemned by Congress calling it ugly vicious hurtful and dangerous. They were more concerned with being labeled Islamophobic or looking like McCarthyism than investigating possible infiltration of the government by Islamists.

The FBI wasn’t allowed to conduct offensive investigations. And They weren’t allowed to label Islam as violent.

Our US security leaders turn for advice and direction to major Islamic groups with ties to the Muslim brotherhood. This is because we are overly committed to multiculturalism and relativism. And it’s based on the false idea that no culture can explain any other culture than itself.

Note: A free people must judge all things. All laws, all groups, everything. We use the evidence available to us, and make decisions without always relying on others. Various experts can make claims, and we can interpret information and make decisions. No group government church or religion is beyond criticism. End note.

These groups want to turn all societies into Muslim societies.

Muslims complained about offensive training materials used by the department of defense and the FBI, and we respond by getting rid of everything that shows links between terrorism and Islam. We are doing Soviet style purges.

Note: When truth must step aside for your agenda to prevail, you have a problem. End note.

The Christian Church should be good at recognizing spiritual warfare, but they are doing no better at recognizing the threat of violent Jihad and Islamic infiltration than the government and military.

Note: A church that doesn’t get specific, that only talks in platitudes, that never calls things what they are, the doesn’t make specific calls to action against specific evils, is a useless and uninspired church. God wants His people to stand up for truth, not be mowed over by militant aggressors. Christians are not pacifists. Christians are lovers. And to love is to fight for what you love. To defend it and protect it. Charity is an action word. Yes, we turn the other cheek, but we also stand up for good society, protect the weak, and uphold justice. Otherwise we are fools, and we take the name of God in vain. End note.

We putt too much emphasis on trust and friendship, and this is blocking real dialogue about the real issues. No matter how offensive, we must speak up about the dangers of Islam.

Note: A key characteristic of Christianity through the ages is the willingness to speak up for the truth. Only in the modern brainwashed castrated version of Christianity do we think it the duty of a Christian to stand by and do nothing in the face of evil for the sake of peace. This is why the Bible rebukes those who say ‘peace, peace, when there is no peace!’ End note.

 

Ch. 6 Immigration and Baby Jihad

 

By the end of the 21st century, there will be more Muslims than Christians if rates continue as they are.

Note: At certain times in history, God has allowed for plural marriage among his people to raise up seed. At the time of Adam and Noah, no such thing was needed, as there weren’t opposing ideological battles to race against in building society. Now we have a major anti-Christian force in Islam, which is outbreeding the Christians. Some say only the stupid and the brave will have children these days. Childbearing isn’t easy, but it’s the right thing to do. Don’t let Muslims erase us from the map. Be proud of Christianity. Perpetuate it through as many children as you can. May God help us all in the stand against anti-Christs, and give us the courage to do whatever it takes to obey God and keep the cause of Christ alive in the earth. From what I’m told, plural marriage is a heavy burden and trail. We aren’t called to do that now. Let us do our part, and not fear family. The Muslims are willing to put their lives on the line to promote their religion. Are the Christians so willing? End note.

74% of people in the Middle East and Africa are antisemitic.

Muslim immigration into non-Muslim areas is a form of stealth jihad. Some call it a modern Trojan horse.

As someone said, the future belongs to those who show up for it. Europe now looks very different than it used to because of mass immigration.

Note: It has been said that most of victory consists in showing up. Being where you should. For Christians, part of that ‘showing up’ is having children. How have we forgotten the children? End note.

Immigration has been connected to conquest in Islam ever since its founder, Muhammad. The hijra is slow-motion Islamic conquest through immigration, named after Muhammad’s original migration to Medina. Muhammad did not come to assimilate; he came to dominate. In a short period of time, Muhammad expelled or killed the Jews from Medina and made Islam the only religion there.

In Europe, there are more and more signs in Arabic and women wearing hijabs.

Political correctness has forbidden anyone from talking about the consequences of mass Muslim migration into Europe.

Note: We want to welcome people into America and Europe who align with the value systems there. The people establish the laws. If people don’t want to live by a place’s law, they shouldn’t come to that place. People can gather and vote as they wish, even vote as a group for similar things, but their voice shouldn’t support an inherently foreign vision that runs counter to established principles of liberty. Many of the Syrian refugees are from Turkey, which isn’t at war, and most of them are young men. The rapes that happen are often covered up to try to promote the peaceful refugee mass immigration narrative.

Infidel women are considered fair game for rape in Islam. A 13-year-old was raped, and the guy didn’t go to prison because he told the judge he didn’t know it was illegal.

A lot of the migrants do not assimilate into the culture and remain with their highest allegiance to the Islamic community.

There are unofficial no-go zones in France and other parts of Europe where you can’t go if you’re not Muslim. Police can’t go into hundreds of these places.

There are 40,000 cars a year burned by Muslim youth in France.

Muslims enslaved a million people from Poland and Lithuania from 1500 to 1800.

The question isn’t whether Europe will be compassionate, the question is whether Europe will survive at all.

Saudi Arabia won’t take in the Syrian refugees but they will help Germany build 400 mosques for them as it’s a part of the cultural takeover.

Some European leaders say we aren’t allowed to talk about how all these immigrants are bringing in terror and crime and changing their thousand-year Christian culture.

There’s so much diversity, and some people are praising that, but it’s becoming less diverse with the Islamic takeover.

Poland and Hungary are resisting the mass immigration because they remember their recent communist overlords, and they see the same kind of takeover happening in a different way with the mass immigration.

Germany wants to make up for their treatment of the Jews by bringing in refugees, but the refugees coming in are mostly Muslim and highly antisemitic.

Many Islamic countries praise Hitler as a hero, and they read Mein Kampf. In Germany, Muslims outnumber Jews by 40 to 1. Not all Muslims hate Jews, but neither did all Germans.

Muslim students in Germany are being exempt from Holocaust education with the excuse that they don’t have a connection to it. But there was a high leader who worked with Eichmann and Himmler who was Muslim who helped carry a lot of this out. And there are still tons of antisemitism among Muslims; they are some of the people who need this training the most.

A saying in the Middle East is ‘first comes Saturday then comes Sunday.’ It means the Muslims take on the Jews, then they take on the Christians. The Jews are seeing a lot of these attacks happening and are fleeing Europe. War is already being waged on Christians, and it’s getting worse.

The decline of Christianity in Europe has led to them having less babies. They have less meaningful things to pass on, and the babies get in the way of their personal gratification. But Muslims are having lots of babies.

In France, of people under age 20, about 50% are Muslim.

Studies show that when 10% of a population holds a very strong belief, that belief will be adopted by the rest of the society. The main thing Europeans believe in these days are long vacations and early retirement. And there’s already over 10% overall Muslim population in France.

Beheadings and other strange crimes are becoming commonplace in these areas.

Muslim men have a culture of marrying children brides, easy divorce, and treating women and children like property.

Note: They also have a tendency for polygamy, which is not inherently bad, but which is bad when you have a culture of disrespect for women. Islam is a power-based religion, not a service-based religion. Marriage simply doesn’t work as well without Christian dynamics. And yes, the Bible has shown several instances of sanctioned polygamy. Of course, polygamy is not the norm, and God doesn’t command it often. It’s been said that polygamy damns more than it saves. It can help the widow and the poor, but it can also turn into a vice if practiced by uninspired people. End note.

Muslim men are taught to disrespect women with uncovered heads arms and legs. It’s commonplace for Muslim husbands and fathers to beat women.

Europeans have lost faith, family, God, country and church, so they don’t have much to stand for, so they’re falling for the pressures of Muslims, covering their heads, and dying their hair black etc. to try to fit in with Muslims.

Surveys show that youth in Europe now would just convert to Islam if confronted. In the past, they had Christians who would stand up and rather die.

Note: It is better to die honorably than to lose your convictions. It is a Christian covenant to speak the truth at all times, and to witness for Christ in all places. It is better to die than to lose virtue. This doesn’t mean suicide is favorable for those who have made mistakes; it means, given the choice between infidelity and the threat of death, death first! We won’t be bullied into submission. Life is a test, and central to that test is whether we will keep to our morals, even when threatened. End note.

Students of Islam are taught manifest destiny and their cultural superiority. They have meaning. But American and European youth are being hammered with multiculturalism and anything to undermine the importance of their national and religious identity.

Multiculturalism is about not depriving other people of their culture. That sounds nice, but it has been weaponized to deprive us of western culture, saying we have to cater to everyone else, not giving ourselves what we are giving to others.

Our youth have no ideals to defend; they’re taught to capitulate.

Christian Europe in the past was able to resist Muslim invasion and retain their culture and identity because they had a strong Christian faith. Now that they don’t have a strong Christian faith, there’s little hope that they’ll be able to resist the Muslim takeover.

America is also losing Christianity, and their schools teach the children not to be proud of Western culture. Now they’re taught that their culture is racist, colonial, sexist, imperialist.

Note: Of course, such accusations against the West are baseless. It hasn’t been perfect, but the world has much to thank Western civilization. Christianity’s influence on society has had the greatest impact of all societies. Europe and America have deep Christian roots. Of course, the Devil wants to twist what is good and true and make it appear to be the opposite of what it is. End note.

Ch. 7 Western Enablers of Jihad

 

An Irish pastor was put on trial for a sermon critical of Islam.

In 1914, G. K. Chesterton predicted the Islamization of Europe in a futuristic novel.

Police in the UK are arresting an average of one jihadist a day.

When Westerners try to be sensitive and tolerant in the transgender movement etc., Muslims see this as weak submission, and it reaffirms their view of their superiority and right to rule.

Note: Christian strength is not understood by the world. Christians are called to love their neighbor as themselves, called to turn the other cheek, but are also called to stand firmly on principle, and be not moved from holy places. They do not apologize for their belief in goodness and truth. They are lovers, and lovers are fighters, people who care enough to do something. Christians are not pacifists. The Book of Mormon reminds us that the spirit of freedom is the spirit of Christ. And freedom demands each to stand. As a free man rather than a slave, you are accountable for your actions. You chose good or evil, then you face the music that follows. Thus, each Christian is duty bound to stand for the truth, to stand with God. Then come what may. End note.

Islamic ideology is passionately dedicated to destroying the West, and the West is also passionately dedicated to destroying the West. Our culturally confused relativistic society is surrendering itself to a more confident society. American soldiers have the best training and weapons, but the worst faith and belief.

Multiculturalism is just a form of relativism. Supposedly forward-looking people are bringing back the primitive because they disallow any distinction between the primitive and the civilized. Multiculturalism erases the lines of right and wrong and says anything is right as long as it has cultural support. In our attempts to embrace all, we are forgetting all of our values.

In truth, some traditions deserve to not continue. Multiculturalism has a vague sense of spirituality but it’s actually very secular.

Note: A great example is when the British came to India and found the Indians had a tradition of burning widows. The British demanded this barbaric tradition end. The Indians persisted, saying the British must allow them to keep their culture. So the British said ‘fine, but we British have a tradition of hanging anyone who burns widows.’ So the Indians relented. Now the British didn’t do everything right in India, but this case was a good example of a righteous society stopping a bad tradition of another society. End note.

Modern people don’t call for Jihad and world takeover, so when the Muslims talk like this, we try to reinterpret what they’re saying to fit our views instead of taking them seriously.

We think Muslims want to jihad because of poverty, so we send them foreign aid and think all will be well.

It’s fashionable but not factual to think of Muslims of the third world countries as being superior and more peaceful than Christians and Jews.

A bill in Quebec proposes prosecution for anyone who criticizes Islam.

Irish pastor McConnell described to his large congregation that Islam was heathen and satanic, and he was put on trial. He didn’t hate Muslims; in fact, his church funded medical care for many Muslims. But he was determined to preach against Islam. On the other hand, when Muslims call for genocide, they don’t get in trouble.

Note: The best preachers can identify specific evils and make specific calls to action to help put those evils down. Preachers teach correct principles and allow for self-government (as Joseph Smith taught), but they also don’t cower in the face of evil. End note.

The liberals are acting like fascists, putting people on trial for things they say.

The chivalrous believe that women should be protected from rampaging men. But chivalry is going away in places dominated by Islam. In Europe, they no longer recognize that men are stronger than women, and they think everyone will just behave. This makes men want to leave Europe.

Police forces are being overwhelmed and are becoming more committed to protecting multiculturalism than protecting individuals. Wanting to make things look good and not be offensive, police reports and news reports often call major violent Muslim protests riots as “largely peaceful.”

An American filmmaker had made a little film about the life of Muhammad, and since you can’t arrest someone for that, they dug up some obscure charge, and a half dozen sheriffs arrested him in the middle of the night.

Obama was overly accommodating to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama lifted long-time restrictions on Libyans attending flight schools and studying nuclear science. Obama removed sanctions on Muslim states, allowing them to go toward nuclear capability.

Obama gave weapons to Egypt until their Islamic group was removed.

The Obama administration ordered the US military to purge all their training materials of anything that might be offensive to Islam.

The British education system stopped passing on British history and values and instead taught that truth is an illusion and that the nation and its values are whatever anyone wants them to be.

Having little attachment to your country makes you susceptible to radical Islamization.

In USA schools, we are subjected to decades of anti-Christian, anti-Western, anti-American conditioning, making other countries look better by making ours look worse. Apparently, tolerance for diversity means intolerance for your own culture. As Robert Spencer says, people who are ashamed of their own culture will not defend it.

Police in England are monitoring 3,000 Muslim radicals with one arrest per day.

There’s an alliance between the American left and Islam.

The strength of a person’s attachment to family, church, and country determines how much he will resist tyranny. The state tries to weaken all of these attachments.

There’s very little evidence that Obama loves America. Politicians like him say nice things to their audiences, but work behind the scenes to destroy our institutions.

There’s been the insertion of Muslims and the removal of Christians to the point that it looks less like immigration and more like colonization.

 

 

Ch. 8: Information Wars

 

The University of Michigan canceled a showing of the movie American Sniper out of respect for Muslim sensibilities. They showed a movie about a teddy bear instead. A student said American Sniper was racist and made him uncomfortable. The football coach said he supported American Sniper so they showed both films in different locations. So here we have 20-year-olds who are afraid to confront major, important things, and prefer teddy bears. Our culture celebrates adolescent traits like self-absorption and limited personal responsibility. This youth culture has led to the divorce culture and the unwed mother culture. Roger Campbell said the Revolution in the 1960s was a revolt against maturity. A glorification of youth and immaturity. The values and attitudes of the youth culture were adopted by the culture at large.

Note: America is now famous for its many ads promoting products to be more youthful. We value youth more than wisdom in just about every way. End note.

The media suppresses facts that make crimes clearly identifiable as Muslim terror obscure.

Islam is an honor culture where people can kill to restore honor. Like an adolescent gang. Islam does female genital mutilation, family murder, and forced marriage in the name of honor restoration. People who defend Islam in the name of multiculturalism are valuing multiculturalism more than women’s rights, etc.

Obama has an adolescent-style romantic view of anti-Western revolutionary movements. Like the Castros in Cuba.

In Brownshirt-style tactics, Muslims protest things violently, and then people react by shutting down what the Muslims want them to shut down. They say it’s to keep people safe. But everyone would have been safe if the Muslims hadn’t shown up. Like a Muslim protest of a Clint Eastwood film, there’s nothing unsafe about the film.

The movements to legalize pot and force everyone to serve gays are reflections of the youth-centered adolescent culture we live in.

The crazy left has been winning against the Christian culture as the Christians try to be generous and forbearing. The left won’t fare so well when it’s up against Islam.

Note: It is a mistaken idea that Christians should bow down to Leftist or Islamist pleas. While being generous, Christians are not allowed to compromise their principles. End note.

An English teacher in Sedan Miss Gibbons had a teddy bear they wanted to name Muhammad, so they did, and she was arrested for religious defamation. People were calling for her execution and she had to flee back to England.

In the movie of Tom Clancy’s The Sum of All Fears book, the Muslim terrorist characters (who do a nuclear detonation at a Super Bowl) were taken out and were portrayed as white supremacists. Another movie features Irish Republican Catholics who plant terrorist bombs at an airport. Another recent film talks about a terrorist sleeper cell in a city that’s mostly Muslim, but of course the terrorists aren’t Muslim. They are Russian Orthodox Christians. Hollywood has the highest concentration of politically correct panderers. Another recent movie has an airplane terrorist who is an American combat veteran.

Islam is the belief system that tends to produce the most terrorists. Yet the politically correct message is that Islamophobia is the chief security threat. Well-informed citizens, seeing all the Muslim terror attacks and all the attempted Muslim terror attacks, know better. One group called Islamophobia the worst form of terrorism. Another group called America an Islamophobia network. A university in Vancouver offers a PhD in islamophobia. One person called islamophobia a crime against humanity.

 

The USA has dropped to 46th place in press freedom. The Justice department monitors reporters. Edward Snowden is hunted. WikiLeaks Julian Assange is hunted.

Usually, news outlets self-impose speech censorship without government pressure. They either don’t cover certain stories or they frame stories to fit certain narratives.

Since they want to promote the idea of Islam as a religion of peace, they say that violent things Muslims do have nothing to do with Islam. In mass murders by Muslims the word jihad is not featured.

Note: Even though often they are shouting Allahu Akbar as they do the attack, or they cite verses of the Quran to justify their actions, or they leave behind notes with Quran verses, etc. End note.

When people convert to Islam and adopt an Islamic name and do a violent attack, the news media reports on it without using their Islamic name.

When these killers leave pre-recorded messages about the justification of their act, often including citations of versus from the Quran, the news media often edits those parts out.

The media tries to hide the Islamic angle of attacks, even when the attackers spare anyone who can recite verses from the Quran or when they stop mid-attack for Muslim prayer.

A shooter had a Quran necklace and yelled Allah Akbar during the attack, yet the reporters and FBI said they were unable to find any motives.

In France, 40,000 cars are burned a year by Muslims. The French Prime Minister reported that on New Year’s Eve in 2014, 1193 cars were burned.

There were over 100,000 female genital mutilations in the UK.

60k Christians were forced to flee their homes in the Philippines when Muslims took over.

At least 450,000 Christians since 2013 in Africa have had to flee their homes since the Islamic takeover.

These stories are untold or rushed over quickly so they don’t draw attention to the pattern. But if it was the other way around and Christian terrorists were doing all this to Muslims, it would be the top story.

The media decides which stories to make a big deal out of, like the Trayvon Martin story. Other similar stories that don’t fit the narrative they don’t care about. The major Hassan incident was near the same time but it got hardly any coverage. If the truth were told the narratives we are hearing would fall apart.

There was a convert to Islam who frequently wrote about desiring to do Jihad for Islam, yet when he was arrested, they said there was no motive. Many similar examples are given in the book.

A man who was arrested for plotting to bomb a train insisted in court that he be judged only by the Quran, not by local law.

The information jihad, not allowing the public to know about what’s really going on, is making us unprepared for bigger jihad to come.

 

Ch. 9 Christian Enablers of Jihad

 

A Lutheran Bishop in Sweden proposed removing Christian symbols from a church to make it more welcoming to those of other religions.

Note: Each religion has the right to have its own symbols and to welcome others to join with them while they maintain those symbols. It’s nice to try and appeal to a broad audience, but you can’t do that to the point that you have nothing left to stand for, nothing to invite others to come and partake of. Ultimately symbols are less important than the people themselves – the members of a church are the ultimate symbol of what a church stands for. But when you get rid of the symbols, it can be a weakening of what the people stand for, and people can forget what to stand for. Symbols, flags, these things remind us that we are a coherent unit, that we stand together, and that we stand for something. Churches are getting increasingly vague and ineffective. Symbols and sacraments have worked for thousands of years, they will still work now. End note.

Jesus appears in the Quran to explain that he is not really God.

Note: Many have a misconception about God. In fact, Jesus is God. God is 3 persons working together – The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. These together are one god. Is it correct to say that Jesus is the son of God? Certainly. Is it correct to say that Jesus is God? Certainly. The Book of Mormon helps clarify this, and declares unequivocally that Jesus is the God of this world. When it comes to Islam, they deny the sonship of Christ, and the godhood of Christ, and the crucifixion of Christ (Quran 4:157), the resurrection of Christ, and any divinity of Christ. With this in mind, we can label Islam as one of several anti-Christ religions. End note.

The 1914 G.K. Chesterton novel The Flying Inn wasn’t a prediction of a Muslim takeover. At the time, it seemed too far-fetched, but it is definitely happening. In the book, The Cross is replaced with a cross-and-crescent emblem. There’s a movement today called ‘Chrislam.’ On a larger scale, there are people who call themselves people of the book, the Abrahamic faith tradition, who overemphasize the similarities between Christianity and Islam. Anyone who questions these movements is labeled a bigot and Islamophobe.

Note: C.S. Lewis’ Narnia books have an ongoing analogy of Christians vs Muslims, especially in the Last Battle book, where specific analogies are made rebuking the attempted union of Christianity and Islam, which is disasterous and evil. End note.

The current Christian attitude is to appease and enable Islam.

When Muslims kill a bunch of people, targeting Christians, the Christians respond by saying they need our sympathy and understanding.

Note: The Christian watch call is to hate the sin and love the sinner. But we’re often missing out on the hate the sin part. We should demand justice. We should denounce these attacks as pure evil. The emphasis should be on the rights of the victims, not the rights of the criminals. In short, our society has lost its view on basic morality and has twisted the word of God in such a way that crime is downplayed and justified rather than justice being justified. The Book of Mormon gives clarifying insight in its teaching that mercy cannot rob justice. Justice must be paid. Law must be enforced. Order must be maintained. Peace and stability cannot survive in an environment of chaos. Some see it as hard to enforce law, but what’s really hard is to have a chaotic society where no one has peace and safety. Get the hard work done of establishing what will not be tolerated, then people can live in peace. We use our freedom to build a civilization of liberty, where goodness is rewarded, and wickedness is punished. An over-emphasis on sympathy for murderers gives the message that murder is not a serious issue, but it certainly is. Christ did not do away with the law. Christ sacrificed himself to save the penitent. It’s much more than Muhammad did, by the way (Muhammad killed people for Allah). The gospel of Christ is about helping us to build a righteous society, not about excusing those who are out of control. There is no mercy for the unrepentant. End note.

Some Christian leaders think it’s okay to have your head in the sand if your heart is in the right place, and they ignore the invasion of millions of Muslims into the West. For example, in welcoming refugees, the Pope gave precedence to Muslim refugees over Christian refugees. There’s so much focus on seeing Christ in the Muslim refugees that they’re not seeing Christ in their fellow Christian neighbors, and they’re ignoring the destruction of Christian civilization.

Christian appeasement enables Jihad. Ever since the 1980s when the mixture of Christianity and Islam was made, sometimes called Chrislam, the terrorist attacks have only increased.

Quran 4:157 says Christ was never crucified, and therefore never rose from the dead.

A church called Holy Trinity was sold to the Muslims, and they took down the crosses and put drapes over the windows depicting Christian art.

There was a Catholic course about the differences between Christianity and Islam, but it got canceled because it contradicted a different course about the similarities between Christianity and Islam.

Note: This parallels what happens with evolution theory. The similarities are overemphasized, and the differences are ignored. Two ideas that really can’t mix are forced together, and the truth is lost. End note.

Muslims call Jesus the son of Mary because they don’t believe he was the son of God. The Quran says specifically that Jesus was not the son of God.

Islam is one of the great imperial and slave owning organizations of all time, yet the textbooks make it appear rosy. The Islamic Golden Age is overemphasized, and their conquests are downplayed as if they were just moving in peacefully.

Multiculturalism supports moral relativism, which is not compatible with Christianity. Secularism is enemy number one, but that doesn’t mean we should align with enemy number two, Islam.

Note: The author says Peter Kreeft takes it too far when he says that Muslims have traits that we should basically be jealous of. But I would agree that if Muslims are better than us at keeping certain commandments, then we should bow our heads to that. We should try to find goodness wherever it is. But we shouldn’t get cozy with the other ideologies of Islam which are openly antichrist and anti-freedom. Indeed, Islam often takes it too far and goes to extremes, whether that’s modesty or requirements and laws surrounding religious observances, etc. It is simply not a Christian religion. One way or another, our children should be taught that, even though there are nice and good people in Islam, Islam is an anti-Christian religion we do not support. We can work together with Muslims in certain battles, but we must always be careful that we don’t get too close to them, as their overall ideology is inherently dangerous. The Bible talks about this principle when it says to make sure that you marry someone who is a part of the true faith. When we get too comfortable with other religions, soon our children marry their children, and this is a gloomy prospect for faith. So we keep a healthy distance from foreigners, even while offering them the help they need. We are good Samaritans, helping the needy, but we don’t accommodate those who reject the true faith to the point of marrying them. It’s hard for young people to understand this, so we add a layer of protection for them by discouraging close relationships with families and individuals outside of the faith. And that’s just plain common sense. It’s also Christian sense. Christ taught that we must not cast our pearls before swine, or give to the dogs that which is appointed for the children. These may sound like harsh analogies, but the point is clear – the people of God have strict limits to follow as they go about their work. End note.

Ever since its beginning, Islam has been an enemy to Christianity, and the same patterns of Muslims fighting Christians are happening today.

In the East, Muslims don’t give Christians permits to make churches and sometimes burn down Christian churches. In the West, Muslims try to fit in and claim to also love Jesus. But at the same time, they often accuse Christians of blasphemy and take down Christian symbols etc.

Islam reduces Jesus to a mere messenger who talks about how Muhammad would come someday. Jesus appears in the Quran just to make a few statements, not as a personal character. You don’t know anything about his life. Muhammad had to put something about Jesus in there.

Note: The author says that because of Jesus, there’s no need for another prophet and another revelation. This is half true. God can always send prophets and revelations to help us, but Christ should always be at the center of true religion, because Christ is God. The divinity of Christ is denied in  Islam. Muhammad was a false prophet because he denied the divinity of Christ and set up a completely different system. Jesus isn’t juts a messenger, He is the message. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Whoso believe in Him will have eternal life. And those who deny the Son deny the Father. End note.

Whenever Jesus is mentioned in the Quran, it’s for the purpose of denying his divinity. In the table scene in the Quran, Jesus is repeatedly referred to as the son of Mary (not the son of God), and Jesus denies being the son of God. The New Testament and the Quran show a very different Jesus. They can’t both be true.

C.S. Lewis, in his final Narnia book, ‘The Last Battle,’ gives an allegory of Christians versus Muslims in the people of Aslan versus the people of Tash. In the story, a false idea is floated that these two gods are the same god, and people just refer to him using different words. Eventually they make up a hybrid god called ‘Tashlan,’ but this hybrid God is really just the worship of Tash, and Tash enslaves them.

The Narnia analogy teaches another lesson. One person is noble but is devoted to Tash. He dies and finds himself in the good graces of the true Lord (Aslan in the story), and is confused. The reality of the situation is that he was a good person doing noble deeds, he was just confused about who the true God is. The true Aslan (Christ) Lord explains to him that because he and Tash are opposites, no good deed can be done to Tash, and no evil deed can be done to Aslan.

Note: This of course reminds us of the Bible teaching that not all who say ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter into God’s kingdom. And the teaching that the servant who claimed he was going to obey but didn’t is the unworthy servant, and the servant who initially didn’t want to obey but eventually did is the worthy servant. Lewis’s stories have great Christian lessons. End note.

The Quran specifically denies the Trinity, specifically says Jesus cannot be in the Trinity, and says that God cannot have a son. The Quran says if you think Jesus is the son of God, you’re an infidel.

The moral code of Islam requires apostates to be killed, and when you’re at war with someone, for the women to be raped.

Today we’ve lost the truth that some religions are simply bad. Like the Aztecs and their human sacrifice. Historically, people have been less ashamed about acknowledging there are such a thing as a bad religion.

In the 20th century, the focus was against secularism, things like communism and Marxism. That’s fair, but it doesn’t mean that Islam and other false religious ideas don’t pose major threats.

There was a Pope who kissed the Quran.

Note: In our age of multiculturalism, we probably look like Corinth, which had an altar to an unknown God. They knew something was out there but weren’t willing to pin it down; they didn’t want to get too specific, or specific requirements might be required (which enable us to receive specific blessings). But the Lord’s apostles came in and rebuked the idea of an unknown God. God doesn’t want to be an unknown God. An unknown god leaves the door open for all kinds of false ideas, and tosses us around by every wind of doctrine. End note.

People are treating Islam and Christianity like a Rorschach test that can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways.

Note: One way God has helped clear up the confusion is by giving the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. People who love the Bible will also love the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. Two nails in the board so to speak, so that the board can’t spin around. It locks in the doctrine of Christ. Of course the Bible and the Quran are pretty clear and a lot of crazy claims are made about the compatibility of the two (though doing so is absurd and ignores the many anti-Christ doctrines of the Quran). The Book of Mormon comes from prophets of ancient America, called by Jesus Christ, and gives splendid, simple doctrines that the world has forgotten (mostly because they have forgotten the Bible). The purpose of the Book of Mormon is to prove the Bible true (not the other way around). The Book of Mormon is to help the world return to the Bible. End note.

2nd Corinthians says beware of anyone who teaches a different Jesus than we do. And Jesus said beware of false prophets that are actually wolves. Muhammad was such a false prophet.

Political correctness means we can’t speak certain truths and ask certain questions. That’s why political correctness also makes these dangerous times.

The Allah of the Quran is specifically opposed to the Christian God.

1 John 2:22-23 says that if you deny the Son, you don’t have the Father. And that whoever denies the Father and the Son is Antichrist.

1 John 4:1-3: Any spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ in the flesh is not of God.

Islam not only denies belief in the Son of God, but calls such belief the worst sin. Denial of the sonship of Jesus is one of the central tenets of Islam. Islam isn’t just based on a false revelation; it’s based on a false revelation that is fundamentally hostile toward Christianity.

Muhammad once presided over the beheading of 600 to 900 men he captured. He fits the description of a false prophet in sheep’s clothing, inwardly a ravenous wolf.

About 270 million people have been killed in the name of Allah, making Islam the greatest killing force in history.

Note: World War I took out about 20 million. World War II about 80 million. Communism about 100 million. With Islam at 270 million, it takes the cake. End note.

Islam isn’t just hostile to Christians in the past, it’s still hostile today to any Christian today who refuses to submit to Islam. See Raymond Ibrahim’s reporting on monthly persecution of Christians by Islam.

Christians should not make statements validating the faith of Islam, because Islam includes forced marriages, mutilations, honor killings, female genital mutilation, etc.

When Christians try to say nice things about Islam, it strengthens the atheists argument that all religions are alike. If we keep making excuses for the intolerant religion of Islam, we ourselves are becoming intolerant. After 9/11, many people became atheists, convinced that religion inevitably leads to violence. Even liberals are beginning to question Islam. Now is not the time to make excuses for Islam.

Christians who think Islam means peace and that jihad is just a spiritual struggle and that islamophobia is the greatest threat to national security are in for a surprise.

Note: And if they were paying attention to current events and history, they would know already know of the violent nature of Islam. End note.

Once Muslims have built enough momentum in Christian countries, they’ll stop trying to befriend Christians, and start dominating them.

Note: This may seem a harsh assessment but it is made based on the fundamental tenants of Islam, our past experience with Islam, and basic common sense of putting the two together – not to mention ominous signs in the present. End note.

We need a little bit of healthy fear about Islamic organizations with a shady past. Christ said be wise as serpents.

Note: A serpent knows that when its life is threatened, it needs to sound an alarm, then attack. Christ also said he came not to bring peace but a sword. Surely truth causes division. Christ’s teaching of a sword, we can see by his example, was metaphorical, but real nonetheless. Christ’s sword teaching could also imply that the truth would make the wicked angry and violent. We do not look for a fight, but when one is brought to us, we don’t cower. We turn the other cheek and help our neighbor, we forgive 70×7, but we don’t let wicked men mow down our wives and children. We don’t let our families be taken into slavery. The Book of Mormon, another witness of Christ, helps show the Biblical message that it is completely appropriate for Christians to defend themselves from invaders. Christians aren’t weaklings to be taken over. God has not given us the spirit of fear. The Christian warfare is inherently defensive, as it is appropriate to defend what we have built. End note.

 

Ch. 10 Strategies for Victory

 

2/3 of Muslims in the UK would not report someone with terrorist ties to the police.

The US Army and Navy are being reduced to pre-World War II size.

Islam has access to weapons the Germans and Japanese didn’t have in World War II, like cyber weapons, biological weapons, and nuclear weapons.

One EMP could knock out the electricity on the East Coast for years. This would put us in living conditions similar to the 19th century, but we wouldn’t have the know-how of how to survive in those conditions as they did.

Note: President George Albert Smith had a vision where he saw an EMP would bring us back to 19th-century conditions. So try to get ready for it. End note.

At the start of World War II, Japan had 73 million; Germany had about 70 million. The global Muslim population is about 1.6 billion.

Note: A great miracle of the Middle Ages was how the Crusades brought together Christians from many lands in a common cause. It was a gathering and unifying mission unlike anything the world had seen politically speaking. Islam could do something similar on the other side and bring together a terrible army. Indeed, the Book of Revelation speaks of an army of 200 million in the end times, and that army, from all appearances, will be Islamic. Perhaps the Middle Ages of Christians fighting back against Islamic aggressions will prove to be a type of what is to come. End note.

Even if the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful, so it goes with most places in history that have been aggressors. You don’t need the majority of a group to be violent; it’s still dangerous if the minority part of it is violent. And a minority of 1.6 billion is still a lot of people. Most Muslims support Sharia law, which has violent aspects.

Just because someone isn’t violent today doesn’t mean they won’t be tomorrow. Look at the Rwandan genocide, where Tutsis were murdered by their neighbors, the formerly peaceful Hutu. The majority of the Hutu didn’t participate in the violence, but it still left hundreds of thousands of Tutsis dead.

Before World War I, Europe was behaving peacefully. During the war, most Europeans remained at home and didn’t fight. It doesn’t take a majority to have a war.

The tendency of Islam is that of a warrior culture like Sparta. Muhammad was a warlord, and that is who Muslims are supposed to model their behavior after. Islamic culture will therefore be more violent than a culture that takes Jesus or Buddha as their example.

The penalty for deserting an army in wartime is death. This is why the penalty in Sharia law for leaving Islam is death. They view themselves as an army. For Islam, all times are wartime.

Note: The Christian soldiers song isn’t about going out to conquer with swords, it’s clearly an allegory. As the New Testament says, we fight against principalities and evil. Our focus is on what destroys the soul. It is true that sometimes those two overlap, such as in the event that an evil force is coming to mow you down. The nature of Christianity and Islam are extremely different. The one promotes peace, the other war. End note.

Moderate Muslims may not be willing to kill, but they often support those who are willing to kill. Extremists have a tendency to murder the moderates until the extreme doesn’t appear extreme.

Moderate Muslims pick and choose which parts of Islam suit them, and they ignore the rest.

Note: This is true of all religions, but it is worth particular mention here as we point out that violent jihad is a fundamental doctrine of Islam, it’s just not practiced by all, and most who don’t practice it at least support it in principle. End note.

History shows that a small number of radicals can pull the rest with them.

94% of all deaths from terrorism in the US from 1980 to 2005 were by Muslim terrorists.

The nations with the most terror attacks have a 70% Muslim majority.

There have been 28,420 Muslim-inspired terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11.

While not all Muslims are terrorists, nearly all terrorists are Muslims.

We try to appease Muslims by censoring Islamophobes and allowing women to wear burkas. But trying to appease Muslims encourages them to become more radical. They will take whatever side is winning. Whenever they get the chance, they will push more and more Islam.

Note: Any religious person wants their religion to become more widespread. The problem is when there are violent religions, and we don’t come down hard on them for their crimes. End note.

Muslims believe that as long as Islam is winning battles, Islam is true. When Napoleon conquered Egypt and invaded surrounding Muslim areas, many Muslims lost their faith.

Note: Faithful Christians and Jews understand that, while God has delivered them many times, their faith isn’t hinged on deliverance. They know ultimate deliverance comes from God, and that life is a test, full of trials. They cry out to God for help, and get it, in God’s own way and timing. Most believers have indeed experienced personal miracles from God directly helping them. But they are willing to trust in God, like Job, even when things don’t go their way. Sometimes the best of people are tried in the hardest ways. This truth operates simultaneously with the truth that God blesses those who trust Him in all things, both spiritual and temporal. But the gospel of Christ isn’t a prosperity gospel; it’s a gospel of love and sacrifice. A gospel of gratitude and forgiveness and rejoicing, even in the face of death and hell. Christ has overcome death and hell, and God’s people always rejoice, trusting in the goodness of God to come through for them in the things that matter most. End note.

Someone said successful military leaders don’t just try to defeat the enemy, but also to discourage their ideology, killing the dreams of the enemy. This is why, after World War II, Nazi officials were forced to take humiliating tours of concentration camps, to bury dead prisoners there, and to undergo the humiliating Nuremberg trials to thoroughly discredit Nazism so it would never rise again.

Islam sends the message that anyone who resists will be humiliated. They do this by making prisoners strip to their underwear and march to an execution place where they are beheaded.

We Christians don’t like to humiliate our enemies, but we do need a different approach than just saying war is a misunderstanding, giving our prisoners of war a copy of the Quran, and claiming that their religion has nothing to do with their militancy. We need to get Muslims around the world to change their psychology and rethink their religion.

 

When Muslims see the military superiority of the West, the advanced technology of the West, and the perks of being a Westerner, they doubt the efficacy of Islam and at least adopt a milder form of Islam. But these days, the West is gutting its military. The Obama administration quietly conducted a massive purge of its top military officers. Islam is ramping up its jihad all over the world, and the West is letting down its guard, literally and metaphorically.

Note: And the gay army of Biden didn’t help our image. No more gay parties at the White House, Mr. Biden. End note.

Today we use incorrect circular reasoning, supposing that Islam is a religion of peace, and that anyone who commits terrorism, even if they do it in the name of Islam, is not really Islamic.

Nazism was a supremacist ideology. Those who followed it to the core were bad guys. The good Nazis, like Schindler, who saved a bunch of people from the hardcore Nazis, were not moderate Nazis; rather, they were nonchalant (unconcerned with Naziism, not identifying with and not supporting Naziism). Similarly, Islam is at its core violent and bad, and those who follow it to the core are bad guys, like Osama bin Laden. The good Muslims aren’t moderate Muslims. They are Muslims who aren’t really committed to Islam. See Raymond Ibrahim’s writings for more on this.

Good Islam and bad Islam are two sides of the same coin, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Dr Jekyll might help us out until he turns into Mr. Hyde. They can readily convert from one to the other, so there’s probably not much difference between the two in the first place.

Note: And you can’t trust Dr. Jekyll, knowing that at any moment he could become Hyde. End note.

You don’t see Christians easily turned into terrorists. Both good and bad Islam take slaves, they’re not so different.

Moderate Islam is not what most Muslims believe, it’s what most liberals believe that Muslims believe. Moderate Islam is an imaginary invention of the left. More exposure to Islamic theology leads to more extremism.

Pakistan has nuclear weapons and Iran is getting them.

Note: This is why the Trump administration attacked Iran, to try and stop them from developing nuclear capabilities. Was it wise? Perhaps not, but it was understandable. End note.

London elected a Muslim mayor.

Note: And we have the Muslim communist Mamdani in New York, and a host of other Muslim officials. This wouldn’t be a problem if their ideology wasn’t openly violent. End note.

The Iranian government is just as committed to Sharia law as the Islamic State. Iran has done more to export terrorism than any other state.

The Muslim view of the end of times is that the 12th Imam will return and establish an Islamic Revolution to control the whole world, and they think it’s any day now, they’re trying to speed it along. They think this Imam is in a trance state since the 9th century and can be awoken by a cataclysmic event like a nuclear attack on what they call the little Satan (Israel), and the big Satan (America).

If an EMP attack brought down the power grid, 2/3 of the American population could be killed within a year.

Obama tells us not to worry about Islam, that it would be contrary to their faith to obtain a nuclear weapon. But we’ve stopped multiple secret attempts of people trying to get nuclear supplies to them.

Iran and Middle Eastern countries rely on the price of oil being high, so we need to develop technology that makes the price of oil go way down.

The resurgence of Islam is mostly due to Saudi funding and proselytizing. It’s been called the largest worldwide propaganda campaign of all time. See the book Defeating Political Islam by Moorthy S. Muthuswamy.

Our school textbooks must teach a correct version of Islam, not the romanticized version that’s in them now.

We need to monitor social media and mosques to discourage the lone wolf terror attacks encouraged in those places.

To secure our borders we should consider a moratorium on Islamic migration to America.

We should take in Christians from the Middle East who are being persecuted by Islam. America is ashamed that it didn’t take in the Jews being persecuted by the Nazis, now let’s not make the same mistake.

Many Islamic terrorists in America come in as legitimate visa holders, then refuse to leave.

Absurd regulations prohibit soldiers from carrying weapons on base, leaving them as targets.

Lots of people say we just need to get the moderate Muslims to reject the extreme ones. But it’s basically impossible to distinguish between the two. Jihad is a big part of the Islamic faith. The Quran says to fight unbelievers many times. And they’re supposed to have Muhammad (the warlord) as their role model.

Many Muslims are highly committed to Islam because of the fairy tale of getting 72 virgins in heaven.

One Islamic leader tried to get the Egyptian president to force everyone to wear the hijab. The president responded that this Islamic leader couldn’t even get his own college-age daughter to wear it, how was he going to get 10,000 women to wear it?

Ch. 11 Psychological, Spiritual, & Ideological Warfare

 

Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and John Paul II stopped communism by discrediting it as an ideology. Sullivan talks about this. If you just win a battle, more militants can pop up somewhere else. You need to discredit the whole ideology. We’re now using Carter-style dialogue and appeasement, and it’s not working. Our leaders refuse to admit we are in a spiritual and ideological war like the one John Paul II fought against Communism.

Criticism of Muhammad is met with great hostility because Muslims know that everything about Islam rests on the credibility of Muhammad.

Ideological warfare has two sides. Bringing down the other side and showing your own side that you have something to fight for. We have to discredit the Quran and the whole religion of Islam. We have to remember the specialness of Western Judeo-Christianity.

Note: The pacifist may be tempted to say that we don’t bring down the other side; we just lift up our side. That’s where it begins, indeed. But when we get down to the details, when we compare the philosophies of the two, we are forced to admit the faults of the one, and the virtues of the other. Holding up the light of Christ shows the virtues of the gospel, and, by default, the corruption of other systems which aren’t aligned with the gospel. Of course all of this should be done in a charitable spirit. We recognize virtue wherever it is, but we also recognize error wherever it is. Honest truth seekers deserve to know the difference between truth and error. It is within the right of the virtuous to list the flaws of ungodly ideologies. Know thy enemy the great warrior says. And yes, we are warriors. Not so much warriors of conquest (like the Muslims), but warriors of the spirit, truth seekers, defenders of the truth. We are not unwilling to upset the Devil as we serve God. In the words of Joseph Smith, we can be ‘disturbers and annoyers’ of the Devil’s kingdom. End note.

Note: Consider this analogy: when talking about nutrition, you emphasize how wonderful natural foods are, but it is wholly appropriate to talk about the dangers of smoking tobacco, since tobacco smoking is so prevalent in our society, and if you don’t know the dangers of it, you could get sucked into a toxic thing, being deceived by outward appearances and shallow views of how it might be fun or attractive. So we don’t just talk about the greatness of Christianity; we talk about the corrupt nature of other traditions, and how the two are incompatible. End note.

We think it’s offensive to label any system of ideas as bad, so we’re not willing to call 7th-century ways of Islam what they are -barbaric. But soon we’ll be conquered by them and will be forced to do things that are quite barbaric. It’s better to stand up to them (than to allow them to force us into ungodly ways).

It won’t be too hard to shake people out of Islam. Raymond Ibrahim says most Muslims are Muslims in name only.

Note: He points out that if we can disprove the Quran the whole religion will come down. A similar idea is true. The Bible for Christianity. The Book of Mormon (and the Bible) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the end of the day, we all have to figure out what is true and what is false. The spirit of God speaks to the mind and the heart to help us find truth. Yes, we have to show how false things are false and how true things are true. Truth deserves to be defended. End note.

Today we like to be nice and say we have deep respect for the beliefs of Islam, but we need to get past that.

Note: We cannot have deep respect for anti-Christ beliefs. Most people are ignorant of the aspects of Islam which are anti-Christ. Remember, negating the divinity of Christ is a foundational doctrine of Islam. We can respect anyone who lives a good life, but we must not endorse any belief system so hostile to Christianity and so destructive to society. End note.

In the Cold War the pacifists said ‘better Red than dead.’ Today it seems some people are going by a similar mantra of ‘better to appease than displease.’

Note: There is a theme in the scriptures that it’s better to die for freedom than to live in bondage. Similarly, it’s better to keep the commandments than to live wickedly. You hear about moral dilemmas where people are challenged to do bad things for the sake of staying alive, but the faithful answer to these dilemmas is death first! End note.

The Garden of Delights and the 72 virgins awaiting faithful men in heaven are a main theme of the Quran, a main thing that inspires terrorist attacks. This is one of the main ideas that has to be discredited.

Note: The 72 virgins is surely a distortion of God’s blessings. Heaven will indeed be wonderful, but this 72-virgin narrative narrows heaven down to the mere carnal, and focuses on women as a form of currency. In heaven, all people submit to God’s will, and feel blessed whatever their calling. But this 72 virgin depiction is short sighted and obviously just an invention of a creative mind seeking to inspire people to sacrifice for a cause. Christian heaven focuses on being reunited with God, redemption from the fallen nature we now live in, health, world peace, and visions of the divine. End note.

270 million have been killed in the name of Islam. We must treat Islam as an ideological enemy like communism or Naziism.

There are 5 pillars of Islam, but Mohammad is the essential pillar (sometimes called the 6^th pillar). People are more likely to get prosecuted for blasphemy against Mohammad than blasphemy against Allah. They say you can’t defame prophets, but they don’t care when people defame Jesus, just when they defame Mohammad.

Note: It is a serious thing to defame God’s messengers, but taking the name of God in vain is even more serious, and made it into the true God’s top 10 list. End note.

There’s little archaeological evidence to support the existence of Mohammad; he could have been made up to defend Arabic conquest.

Mohammad married a 6-year-old, ordered mass execution of defenseless people, traded slaves, permitted rape, engaged in deceit and trickery, married his daughter-in-law, etc.

The Quran is cryptic and doesn’t sound like real conversation as the New Testament does. The Quran doesn’t seem to know much about Jesus at all.

Muslim recruitment sites are full of anti-Christian propaganda, mocking the idea of God coming to Earth and living as a man, etc.

Islam is an honor culture with God in complete control, doing whatever he wants.

Note: The Book of Mormon teaches that if God broke eternal laws, he would cease to be God. Alma 42 teaches: “13 Therefore, according to justice, the plan of redemption could not be brought about, only on conditions of repentance of men in this probationary state, yea, this preparatory state; for except it were for these conditions, mercy could not take effect except it should destroy the work of justice. Now the work of justice could not be destroyed; if so, God would cease to be God. 21 And if there was no law given, if men sinned what could justice do, or mercy either, for they would have no claim upon the creature? 22 But there is a law given, and a punishment affixed, and a repentance granted; which repentance, mercy claimeth; otherwise, justice claimeth the creature and executeth the law, and the law inflicteth the punishment; if not so, the works of justice would be destroyed, and God would cease to be God. 23 But God ceaseth not to be God,..” End note.

People are attracted to Islam becuase it is a tough guy religion. Their God isn’t like the Christian God who was beaten and killed.

Note: True Christians know that the Christian God (Christ) is also tough. Tough enough to resist sin. Tough enough to defend the helpless. And ultimately, tough enough to create the world, and hold all things in his power. Christ calmed the seas, something Muhammad could never dream of. In today’s culture, Christianity has been warped into a feminine thing, something sappy that is less appealing to strong men, as it has been corrupted by politically correct socialist narratives which aren’t really in line with Christian doctrine. The church doesn’t have to be so sappy. It doesn’t have to just talk about kindness and kittens. It can include cosmos, creation, and complete control of nature, etc. We often forget the Jesus who turned over tables of the wicked, the Jesus who called his enemies vipers and foxes. The Jesus who voluntarily took a beating for us all. End note.

6 million Muslims convert to Christianity annually. We should fight the Islamic law of killing those who leave Islam. The alternative (of passive submission to bullies) is even more dangerous.

The story of Islam’s golden age is greatly exaggerated.

We need to frequently raise questions about the validity of Islam.

Europe has lost faith in the religion that civilized it; it may be too late for Europe. But there’s still hope for America.

The religion of political correctness weakens our resolve that we have something good to fight for in the West. Believing everything is equally okay isn’t going to cut it!
