There is much, oh so much ado about Adam, that wonderous character, father of mankind! Love him, hate him, maybe you don’t know him! Long has this controversy tormented the latter-day saints, and confused the best of us. From the alleged scientists claiming his fathers were apes to the Catholic and protestant world who shaming the fellow, to the honor bestowed upon him by the Latter-day Saints, some even exalting him, the mystery of Adam is not one to left unturned! This website will showcase doctrines opinions and resources on this often confusing subject. I believe that when we take the scriptures of the restoration as our primary authority on the will of the Lord, we can put statements of church leaders in a context that makes sense, and doesn’t undermine the position of the church.

In short, it is the view of this website team that Adam is a righteous man, chosen by God the Father to come here and be our father. We support the direction the church has taken on this topic, and recognize that there are many doctrines and possibilities surrounding this topic, not all of which are understood. While we present our views, we hope that various opinions will be respected on this subject.
