The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a several-hundred-year history of standing against evolution, but today some call for a secularization of the church, including an acceptance of evolution as an explanation for the origin of man. Not only is human evolution scientifically impossible, it is theologically the opposite of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God did not use evolution!
