Grace is the work God does for us. “Works” are the things we do for God.
Old Testament scriptures on grace show that God is unchanging, not just nice in New Testament, not just mean in the Old, but the same yesterday today and forever.
This is to show how grace of God has always played a role with God’s people and their salvation.
For a document on scriptures commanding works from the New Testament, see my document “The Imploring God of the New Testament: Scripture References”
This refutes the idea that God was mean in the Old Testament and just nice in the New Testament / without any real requirements or expectations.
