From the World Affairs Brief, 5/3/19
The mainstream media continues to trumpet the false dangers of a measles “epidemic” and now are raising the alarm about mumps—neither of which are deadly to 99% of people. It’s clear the PTB are trying to silence concerned parents of vaccine-damaged children, and convince people to accept government mandates for vaccination against your will. Without the constant conspiratorial pressure from Big Pharma companies in collusion with the CDC, Japan is leading the way for more parental choice on vaccines by refusing to mandate them. Children’s Health Defense has the story.
In the United States, many legislators and public health officials are busy trying to make vaccines de facto compulsory—either by removing parental/personal choice given by existing vaccine exemptions or by imposing undue quarantines and fines on those who do not comply with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) vaccine edicts. Officials in California are seeking to override medical opinion about fitness for vaccination, while those in New York are mandating the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine for 6-12-month-old infants for whom its safety and effectiveness “have not been established.”
The U.S. has the very highest infant mortality rate of all industrialized countries, with more American children dying at birth and in their first year than in any other comparable nation—and more than half of those who survive develop at least one chronic illness.
American children would be better served if these officials—before imposing questionable and draconian measures—studied child health outcomes in Japan. With a population of 127 million, Japan has the healthiest children and the very highest “healthy life expectancy” in the world—and the least vaccinated children of any developed country. The U.S., in contrast, has the developed world’s most aggressive vaccination schedule in number and timing, starting at pregnancy, at birth and in the first two years of life.
Does this make U.S. children healthier? The clear answer is no. The U.S. has the very highest infant mortality rate of all industrialized countries, with more American children dying at birth and in their first year than in any other comparable nation—and more than half of those who survive develop at least one chronic illness. Analysis of real-world infant mortality and health results shows that U.S. vaccine policy does not add up to a win for American children.
In 1994, Japan transitioned away from mandated vaccination in public health centers to voluntary vaccination in doctors’ offices,… Unlike in the U.S., Japan has no vaccine requirements for children entering preschool or elementary school.
Japan also banned the MMR vaccine in the same time frame, due to thousands of serious injuries over a four-year period—producing an injury rate of one in 900 children that was “over 2,000 times higher than the expected rate.” It initially offered separate measles and rubella vaccines following its abandonment of the MMR vaccine; The mumps vaccine is in the “voluntary” category.
Imagine a national government that actually recognizes that vaccines can do damage! Instead, the US government is in systematic and conspiratorial denial.
A central tenet of a free and democratic society is the freedom to make informed decisions about medical interventions that carry serious potential risks. This includes the right to be apprised of benefits and risks—and the ability to say no… Forcing the MMR vaccine, or any other vaccine, on those who are uninformed or who do not consent represents nothing less than medical tyranny.
In contrast to Japan, Argentina just passed a vaccine mandate through both chambers of congress without debate, political discussion and seeing just one negative vote against it.
Learning nothing from the ongoing Colombian HPV issues, the new Argentinian law forces their entire 20 vaccine schedule upon its population of both children and adults. Using nearly identical talking points as seen in Colombia, the Argentinian bill’s author Dr. Pablo Yedlin boasted on Twitter, “They [vaccines] are free, they are your right and your obligation”
The recently approved law indicates “certification of compliance with the National Vaccination Calendar must be required” including for passports, driver’s licenses and National Identity Documents (DNI).”
This demonstrates why survivalists have been wrong in recommending Americans retire to Latin American countries like Argentina for safety. Lacking both constitutional restrictions against these kinds of intrusive laws and a people resistant to government edicts, Latin America can turn on ex-pats in a instant. Sure, they are trying to do it to us here too, but at least we have a better chance to resist since we have more people who will stand up to mandates.
Sadly, Donald Trump succumbed to the measles “crisis” by urging Americans to protect themselves with the measles vaccination. “The vaccinations are so important. This is really going around now,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “They have to get their shots.” That’s really stupid especially for a parent with a vaccine injured child (Barron). Trump tweeted in 2014: “I believe in vaccinations but not massive, all at once, shots. Too much for small child to handle. Govt. should stop NOW!”
Here are several things to keep in mind about vaccines: 1) All infectious diseases were in steep decline through better health practices and clean water before vaccines started. 2) read the vaccine insert on dangers and side effects. Make you doctor read it if he pushes vaccines on you or your children. 3) Vaccinations are no guarantee of protection. Many of those coming down with the measles have been vaccinated earlier, and people who get the flu shot still get the flu.
